Manifest Your Destiny Foundation
About
The Manifest Your Destiny Foundation (“MYD”) is a non-profit, youth serving
organization established by Ivy League actor Hill Harper. Despite his many
accolades, or maybe because of them, Hill Harper made a commitment to
work in service of our youth - to pass along the lessons he learned and to
provide a foundation for young under-served teens to use as a launching pad
to academic success.

Mission
To provide underserved youth a path to empowerment and educational excellence through mentoring, academic enrichment programming, college access skills obtainment and the facilitation of psychosocial and physical development strategies.

Core Values
MYD’s “core team” of developers realized the importance of taking a “holistic” approach to empowering youth and actively assisting them in building a future that is of their own creation, despite the many obstacles they may encounter along the way. This approach integrates self-reflective strategies and incorporates all facets of their “personhood” including identity, self-esteem, mental and physical health, cognition, passion and responsible citizenship.
